Waste Free Oceans (WFO) is a non profit foundation whose main goal is to reduce the global impact of marine litter. WFO's operations focus on marine litter clean-ups and “Closing the Loop” projects, where new products are designed and produced from the collected ocean waste. The CERM, Center for the Study of Mediterranean Rivers, is focused in research, dissemination and conservation of rivers and other freshwater environments. The CERM is part of the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC), and it is also the environmental area of the Ter River Museum.
